SOMETIMES LOSING IS THE WINNING MOVE

In Battle of the Knollen, every trick is a decision. Win it, and you take the spoils: the winner picks two cards, second place takes one, and last place gets nothing. Those cards become your army, which is also your gold, your ammunition and your magic.

But the player who loses a trick leads the next one and gets to charge into battle first. Losing isn't a setback here. It's your fastest way up the mountain.

Trick: Play Smart, Not Just High

Classic trick-taking with a sneaky twist: every low card of a hero's color triggers their magic, no matter who played it. Follow suit with the wrong card, and you just powered up your rival.

Recruit: Every Trick Builds Your Army

Win tricks to claim the best cards. They become your army, which is also your gold and your magic.

Conquer: Lose the Trick, Lead the Hunt

Whoever loses a trick charges into battle first. Exploit monster weaknesses, roll the die, and climb the mountain. The first to defeat a boss wins the Potato of Power.

In the war-torn lands of Tuberia, rival potato nations march toward Mount Solanum, watched over by the ancient guardian Tuberon. Only one faction will claim the Potato of Power and rule the realm. The rest end up as side dishes.
